DAY 1— WELCOME TO SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE!  This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner as your GTC guide introduces you to your fellow guests, and informs you about incredible colonial Mexico. (D)

DAY 2— LOCAL MARKET, AND HOUSE AND GARDEN TOUR. Enjoy the colorful open-air market with its wonderful hand-made crafts, and delicious fruits and vegetables.  Next, tour gracious colonial homes and gardens.  The afternoon and evening is free time for you to explore San Miguel's bustling El Jardin to find entertainment, fine arts and crafts and to look for the famous balloon man.  Dine with your family in one of San Miguel''s acclaimed restaurants.  (B,L)

DAY 3—CITY AND ARTS TOUR. San Miguel is an artist lover's paradise. The city's impressive architecture is a work of art in itself, additionally, San Miguel is home to Mexico's most celebrated artists' community. Take a tour of authentic arts and crafts studios and meet the artisans who create the work. Enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a visit to the glorious botanical gardens. Tonight is Time Together—Time Apart. While the kids enjoy pizza and have fun with their GTC guide, Adults are free to enjoy their choice of dinner and entertainment.  (B,L)

DAY 4—GUANAJUATO. Like San Miguel, Guanajuato was once a silver mine, and its ancestry is still evident today in the underground streets, and magnificent churches.  Named a cultural heritage site in 1988 for its colonial architecture, the city has many pedestrian walkways that preserve the historic feel of the town.  Following lunch is free time for you to explore Guanajuato on your own.  Dine with your family this evening. (B,L)

DAY 5—ATOTONILCO AND HOT SPRINGS.  Atotonilco has earned its place in Mexican history books many times over. Eighteenth-century murals adorn the walls and ceilings of the church.  It was also from here that Miguel Hidalgo declared Independence.  Atotonilco means place of the hot springs, so relax and enjoy the healing waters.  Enjoy a picnic lunch and return to the hotel in the early-afternoon.  Late-afternoon and evening are free to enjoy an evening with your family. DAY 6—SAN MIGUEL VIEJO.   The mission at San Miguel Viejo was the first Jesuit settlement in the area. The chapel is an extraordinary example of 17th century folk stone masonry. Enjoy the beautiful vistas and lunch in this historic town. Return to hotel to enjoy free time with your new friends and family. (B,L)

Family Tours to MexicoDAY 7—CULTURAL EXCHANGE. After breakfast, we visit a local orphanage for a cultural exchange and lunch. Be prepared to share national anthems, sings favorite songs and play games.  Return to hotel for free time to swim, play tennis or relax.  Dine at the hotel for a farewell dinner.  (B,L,D)
