DAY 1 — WELCOME TO WESTERN CANADA AND BRITISH COLUMBIA! After transferring to your hotel, join your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner. D

DAY 2 — VISIT HISTORIC VICTORIA. Take a BC ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. Enjoy a nice lunch at one of Victoria’s famous deli’s and discover the riches of the Royal BC museum on a docent-guided tour. After hotel check in, explore Victoria or swim in the hotel pool. B,L,D

DAY 3 — HAVE A WHALE OF A TIME! Enjoy a whale-watching expedition and gain a deeper understanding of these gentle giants through your naturalist guide. From the high seas to high tea—enjoy a genteel repast at luncheon. After lunch, a narrated one-hour coach tour takes you through enchanting Victoria. Tonight is free time, your opportunity to explore Victoria’s eclectic restaurants on your own. B,L

DAY 4 — BEAUTY ON SEA AND LAND. First, we visit a marine ecology station where investigations of living sea creatures are both “hands on” and aided with microscopes. A short coach trip takes us to the beautiful Butchart Gardens for lunch and a fun activity for adults and kids. This evening we will have a salmon BBQ on the beach and hear stories from an island native. B,L,D

DAY 5 — CANADA’S COUNTRYSIDE. Board “The Malahat” for a 90 minute train ride through the island countryside to Duncan. Tour the Quw’utsun’ Heritage  Center and learn more about the First Nations peoples. After a picnic lunch, it’s on to the see birds of prey at the Pacific Northwest Raptors. Then board the BC ferry back to Vancouver, via Horseshoe Bay, where we check-in at the hotel. B,L,D

DAY 6 — VANCOUVER’S AQUARIUM AND SCIENCE WORLD. Visit with beluga whales, dolphins, sea lions and other aquatic creatures at Vancouver’s aquarium. Enjoy free time at Granville Island. Later this afternoon it is all aboard the aquabus to Science World with its hundreds of interactive exhibits! Time Together—Time Apart means that while the kids return to the hotel with their GTC guide, adults have the evening free for dining, shopping and entertainment. B

WESTERN CANADA AND BRITISH COLUMBIADAY 7 — ECOLOGY AND STANLEY PARK. First visit the Lynn Canyon Ecology Center where a 616- acre second-growth rainforest is your playground and opportunity to take a short, gentle hike. After lunch, return to Stanley Park for a relaxing carriage ride through the park. Enjoy free time in the hotel to pack, swim and rest before a farewell dinner. B,L,D
