DAY 1 WELCOME TO BASEBALL’S SACRED GROUNDS! Arrive in Boston. Your GTC guide will outline the exciting details of your tour introduce you to fellow baseball fans at the welcome dinner tonight! You will also meet a special dinner guest a sports industry professional where you can talk baseball and learn about the multiple ways one can stay with the game even after your playing days! DAY 2 A GREAT DAY IN BOSTON. After breakfast, we begin with a tour of Fenway Park, one of America’s oldest and most fabled baseball stadiums. Afterward get ready for an amphibious Ride the Duck tour and lunch at the Bull and Finch (better known to most as “Cheers”. Enjoy some free time in the Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market and then it’s off to Museum of Science. This evening we head back to the fabled Fenway Park to see an epic battle two perennial rivals the Red Sox take on The New York Yankees (Best available seats). Boston Tremont - Courtyard B,L,D
DAY 3 BOSTON/COOPERSTOWN. Depart Boston for Cooperstown. Discussions on the way include such topics as the evolution of sports journalists and their role in sports today or watch your favorite baseball movie. Lunch is free time, your opportunity to explore Cooperstown on your own. Spend the afternoon at the Hall; see the permanent exhibits and visit the Baseball Wax Museum. Participate in the family oriented “Connecting Generations” trivia game featuring a panel of Hall of Famers matching wits with people from audience. Holiday Inn Schenectedy B,D
DAY 4 COOPERSTOWN. It’s back to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. During induction, several players, commentators and journalists will join an elite group of baseball professionals who have attained the highest baseball honor in recognition of their skills. The ceremony is in an open field but we’ll have chairs for our group. After the ceremony feel free to return to Main Street and search for memorabilia or return to the Hall of Fame museum. DAY 5 COOPERSTOWN/NEW YORK CITY. Following breakfast, depart for New York City! Make a direct stop enroute at Yankee Stadium for the “Champions Plus” behind the scenes tour. Learn about the stadium that was home to such baseball greats as Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio, Jackson and many others who wore the Yankee pinstripes. Enjoy some time in this famous place being retired this year. Tonight we make our way to nearby Staten Island for dinner and a minor league game this evening between Staten Island Yankees and the Brooklyn Cyclones. Holiday Inn 57th Street B, D
DAY 6 A GREAT DAY IN NEW YORK CITY. After breakfast, we begin with a New York City tour of the famous Manhattan neighborhoods. Lunch is in midtown at the famous sports bar, Foley’s. Tonight we head back to the fabled Yankee Stadium to see the Yankees take on the Baltimore Orioles (Box seats). Holiday Inn 57th Street B, L, D
DAY 7 FAREWELL! Meet for a farewell breakfast and transfer on your own to the New York Airport. B
